Public Hearing On Philadelphia's Homeless Education Issues Now Available

The hearing is in four parts. The first part is a battle between City Council’s Educastion Committee with the Parker Administration’s Office of Education, Office of Homeless Services, and the School District of Philadelphia. It featured a lot of verbal fireworks!
The second part features national leaders Dr. Zach Wood of Seattle University and board member of Youth Collaboratory and the Mockingbird Society, and Erin Patterson of SchoolHouse Connection.
The third part featured three of our youth leaders sharing their stories.
The final part featured solutions and included Alyssa Weinfurtner of Valley Youth House representing the providers, Maura McInerney of the Education Law Center, and Barbara Huggins of the National Network 4 Youth.
